Surat Revs Up For 4-Day Auto Expo

 Surat: The Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI) is set to host the Surat International Auto Expo 2024, which will span four days starting Friday. Touted as one of Gujarat’s largest automobile exhibitions, this marks the sixth edition of the expo.

 

With 70 automobile brands in attendance, the event promises to showcase top car manufacturers, two-wheeler companies, commercial vehicle producers, auto accessories, spare parts, and workshops.
According to the organizers, none of the vehicle brands have manufacturing facilities in south Gujarat. “The exhibition will create business opportunities for automobile brands in the region and provide a platform for new avenues of development,” said Ramesh Vaghasiya, president of SGCCI.
“The event will provide a unique experience as customers can collect information and compare various vehicles in one place. Otherwise, they would have to go to different showrooms,” said Mehul Desai, exhibition chairman.
A total of 19 four-wheeler, 10 two-wheeler and five commercial vehicle companies will display their vehicles at the expo. Electric vehicles will also be part of the exhibition.
“There will be vehicles ranging from Rs 5 lakh to Rs 5 crore on display,” an official added.
To facilitate immediate purchases, SGCCI has introduced a test drive facility where customers can test vehicles and finalize their purchases on the spot.
